Katie McMichen Photography Launched!

Katie McMichen is a vert talented freelance photographer who came to me looking for a website to showcase her work and increase her client base. After having several in depth dicussions about what exactly she was looking to get from her site, what demographics she was looking to target and so on I was able to get to work.

KatieMcMichen.com was built on the Wordpress platform and coded using HTML, CSS, PHP, and jQuery. Its technically a one-page site because it all loads at once but the site was broken up into seperate panels and then brought into view as the user selects the content they want to see. The site is similar to my old site witht eh way it loads and is set up but it incoporates a more advanced, paginated image gallery to showcase her portfolio. The site also integrates a PHP based contact form and social media links.

BradSelf.com Version 2 is Up, Running and Ready To Go

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the new and improved BradSelf.com. As a designer I'm constantly learning and implememnting new web technologies and in order to keep my personal portfolio site current I decided it was time for a redesign.

The new site incoporates many new features and yet still keeps elements of the old design. The site is a variation of the pne page design used in the previous version. Rather than using seperate panels Idecided to go with an accordian based slider to disply individual page content. Along with that I've integrated multiple tabbed interface and a jQuery based slider. The portfolio section uses a lightbox display method thats able to display not only images but audio and video as well. I'm very proud of what I was able to work out with the new design. Wanna Join the Cult?

Cult Maagzine is a new publication in the Tampa Bay area focused on art, music, fashion and so on. The publishers have recently reached out to me and we're officially developing the new website for Cult. Cult's online portal will feature a full blown social media section, musician and band directories, user submitted columns and more. This is one of the largest projects I've taken on yet and I can't wait to get started!

Update: You can see the design over to the right. All thats left for Cult is the codingand programming. Once development is finished up Cult will be put int a beta testing phase and if you're interested in joiing the Cult to promote yourself or just for the hell of it make sure to follow me on twitter so that you can get an invite to the beta launch of the site.

Statewide Protection is gettign a digital facelift.

My friends over at Statewide Protection are one of the elite private sector security agenciesin the south eastern United States and they're finally ready to launch the brand to help promote that image. Travis and the other guys in charge have decided to work with me to create their branding identity, website, promotional materials and more.

I've been getting down with my brad self and working like crazy to craft their brand mark and you can get a prview by glancing slightly to your left. The mark is not only be used as their base logo but their badges are being custom made to match. Their website is in development and I'm working on the promotional materials as they come. This is one of the most thorough projects I've been able to work on and I've never been more excited to get to work.
